Hi all,
Looks like I might be heading to Wisconsin for a day trip this weekend so I wanted to know if I can legally carry my Swisschamp or Explorer sak with me. I usually carry them in my front pocket on a P-7 clip.
Hopefully we have some Wisconsin locals that can let me know.
Thx.

As far as I know, you can carry a SAK anywhere in the US.
That's us mobile.

only if you are strong enough.... :) :)

Every city/town has their own local ordinance. In Milwaukee its three inches or less. Wisconsin in general hads no blade length restrictions. The problem lies in what is considered concealed carry. Talking with a few cops, as long as you're not committing a crime you don't have to worry. I have never heard of anyone in Wisconsin getting in trouble for a sak

I carry a Voyager lite and Signature Lite everyday. I am from Wisconsin.

Wisconsin ?
Wouldn't have to be the 111mm cheese knife?

That is what I am worried about while reading their laws. :)

I don't have a 111mm cheese knife and that is what the sak is for! LOL

I carry a SAK every day in Wisconsin.
what part are you visiting?

Cops have better things to do than harass a law abiding citizen for carrying a SAK! I carry one everywhere I go and never worry local laws. Its a SAK.

We will be over by Manitowoc at first, then I dunno from there! Gonna be looking for places to go and things to see! Any good suggestions for hiking/trail walks?

One would think so but I have known people that got picked on cause they were not locals and don't want to give them any reason! :)

The cheese knife is a good option, but I sold one to a guy in China and it never showed up, I think was confiscated by customs. The locking main blade could be problematic in some places. :P I have one at home in my knife block in the kitchen and it's perfect for that, even in Wisconsin! :)

Yeah but in the 505 you can carry a pistol on a holster while carrying a shotgun on your shoulder

Aren't SAKs like universally legal? Of course I mean the slipjoint ones and not newer locking models such as Wenger.

Well they should be, I would hate to imagine the Swiss Guard strutting around the Vatican with Jetsetters.
