As part of a new project we are working on I have been posting daily pics and info on different multitools, SAKs and other EDC items on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc, and using hashtags like #sakwiki, #swissarmyknights and #multitooldotorg. For those of you that have been around a while, think of it as the new SAKtivity photos. :D
We are working on ways to have that stuff appear here or on the Main Site as well, because we should totally have all the content here! :D
What does that mean for all of you?
Easy- if you are on any of the above mediums, follow us on each of them (links below), reshare our photos and use the above hashtags on any photos you post that may be relevant (I don't need pics of your Great Aunt Petunia blowing out her birthday candles!) and I will share them as well. Bonus points if Swiss Army Knights or MTO memorabilia gets in the shot as well! :D
If you aren't on any of the above, that's okay, we are working on cool stuff for the rest of you as well! :D

Just seeing this as I was gone when you started the thread :D I think it is a good way to get others outside of the forum interested and hopefully send a few this way :like: I have all but the twitter link you mentioned but don't use them a lot ::) ;)

Unfortunately I am kind of required to represent MTO on other platforms, or else someone else will steal our name/account etc and pretend to be us. I don't even want to think of the things that could be posted in our name. :facepalm:

To be honest, Twitter is probably the one I use the least, and I use an app (originally the built in feature of the IG app, now IFTTT (https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,79542.210.html)) to post my IG stuff to Twitter and Facebook.

Well I use the forum and other forms of social media as well so I’ve followed the IG tags and I will try to remember to include them, where appropriate, when posting in future :tu:

my life isnt interesting enough to be on facebook, twitter or any of those other social media things.
I have a facebook account, but my daughter regularly rings me and asks me if I have even looked at it.
last time I looked, I had lots of double digit numbers attached to these funny little symbols at the bottom of the page.
Ill have to ask my daughter what it all means.
And there is this strange lightening type symbol up in the top right hand corner
I think it tells me how many lightening strikes there has been, its nearly at 100 now.
Oh well, guess its better than that damn textiting thingy.
it changes all the words I type and sends messages to people willy nilly
the other day, my keyboard went to all these funny little pictures.
all I could send was lots of pictures of funny little round things, my daughter told me to stop it, it was annoying her.
give me a multitool any day, it only does what you make it do.
not like those damn silly electronic things.
