...Afford a nice custom, one of a kind Sak what tool's would you like to have, and what size chassis would you like it to be on ???
Personally I'd like a main blade, woodsaw, can and bottle opener's awl, metal file, and a keyring/bail, all on a 93mm Alox chassis, be it Wenger or Victorinox:)
Mine does exsist it's a Scibeer Abrasive Farmer and once I've got some dosh, she will be mine >:D
But what about you guy's ???
-
Micky, what about the metal file you wanted? ???

Bugger I linked it to the wrong model ::)

My favorite is a stock SAK- the OH Fireman.
-
Ben, you should do the file tip mod that Appletree does to his SAKs. I traded with him and on the Handyman he made the tip into a flat head screwdriver.

I have thought about it, but I like it as it is. :)

Oh, I see!
-
And besides the temper on the file is really too high to use as a screwdriver :-\, and I'd hate to have the file shatter on me
-
I'd have a OH Outrider..to me that would be the ultimate 111mm SAK.
-
Right now my "ultimate" SAK is a Fieldmaster with PLUS handles which is what I have in my pocket as I type this. I'm sure this will change someday but I'm happy right now. :sak:

There's also a plated finish on the file/saw that flakes off when the tip is ground.
-
Mine would be a New OHT minus the saw blade and instead of the can opener I would have a glass breaker.
With some nice scales (plus or minus T&T really don't care either way) with a pocket clip and a lanyard hole.
-
It's interseting that no one's come up with anything really radical , I guess there's a Sak for everyone out there :)

My perfect SAK would be a Vic Tinker (or Wenger Canyon or Wenger Highlander) with ribbed Alox scales, a pocket clip, and a OHT-Ranger style main blade for one hand opening. Leave all the other implements the same as they are in the current production models.
The main blade doesn't have to lock - I just want to be able to easily pull the knife from my pocket and use the main blade with one-hand.
.

Hmmm, My perfect SAK? As far as size goes, I like my wenger Evo with the locking blade, and I also like the locking blade feature since they are legal over here. I also like Alox scales and I could deal with having a philips driver rather than a corkscrew although the corkscrew is more useful when you work with knots.
-
Mine will be in the Wenger Ranger frame, OHO blade (plain edge), wood saw, can opener, bottle opener, corckscrew, awl (with sewing eye) and alox scales. Very simple, but functional and strong.

I want mine to have a death ray on it. It's an old Gilligan's Island reference. Then I already have enough issues with TSA.

My Scibeer Yoman pretty much fits the bill for me.

Was that with, or without the saw blade mate ???

Thanks. It would be perfect if I could somehow have an awl too.
