Title: Best MT for heavy drinker
Post by: temo on January 09, 2019, 06:09:22 PM
Ook subject is a bit provocative My picnic tool juice XE6 has been strong opening any bottles and cans. As well swiss champ. Now keychain tool gerber has a nice bottle opener, ready to be used without any tool opening. As well skeletool and style has one.

But currently beer cans are more popular then bottles. Yes you can open those without multitool. But as a multitool user still like to use multitool. Gerber dime package opener can be used. Still example vic small flat / can opener works better. Was thinking could skeletool carabiner be any help? Most keychain size tools are not very suitable to be any assist.

Again example vic pioneer has openers and those work well also assisting beer can opening. Well missing cork screw but that is quite rare. Also tools like LM piranha and smaller pry bar tools are quite handy.

I have not located perfect option yet. Though there rarely is perfect option. What would you rate as best opener? I think I rate juice xe6 and swiss champ to best but those are already quite large tools in pocket use. But those have also cork screws even rarely needed. From smaller options pioneer is maybe the best at the moment. In keychain size dime and style. Actually LM style was pretty good but don't know why gave it away.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190109/d456d86601da1987d6a02e7f5c8ad74b.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190109/c95d9c36f6509ed4557632ea24e7e247.jpg)

Surely the Waiter was designed to handle this problem.....

But, not having one of those....I'd go with a Spartan:

Hmm yeah...multitools with knives and other sharp / pointy tools in them in combination with alcohol....sounds like a plan, where's the party at?  :drink:

I'm gonna hit that beer bong full of vodka with all my knives unfolded...all while running down the street naked...I mean what could go wrong, right?  :drink:

....this police chick is kind of cute..and she's putting handcuffs on me...that must mean that she likes me, right? ...should I ask for her number? ...they still allow a phone call when you are in jail right? ...think she's DTF?

I have to agree with Nix: Waiter, Spartan, Climber...
I guess any SAK.  The Compact is also a good choice.
