I have two: The Deluxe Tinker and the Swisschamp.
The Tinker just seems to have the best tool compliment for me, while the Swisschamp just always has a spot in my heart. Even though I haven't EDCed it in probably a year, I still bet it has more miles on it than any other tool of mine! It is the ultimate light-duty tool for me. :salute:

Perfect size for me,fits great in the hand,looks great,simple,sturdy ! :D

Wenger SI/ Vic Pioneer. Basic tools, easy to carry, and alox scales. What more could you want? (first one to say toothpick and tweezers gets one o' these----> :twak:)
-
What more could you want?
A pen. :D
-
Mine is The Explorer.
-
1985 era Champion. EDC since late 1986....even during times of war (OIF-2003 w/ 3ID0.

I've mostly EDC'd my climber, it was my first SAK and I've had it in my pocket for five years. Just this week I was thinking of my ideal SAK, in terms of maximum function for minimum size. It would be really a waiter with scissors, I checked SAKwiki to see if it existed (yes original golfer, too collectable to really use). The next thing was a compact, so I ordered one this week and have had it for a couple of days and its great. One layer less than the climber, with all the same functions, with the plus scales. I've been so into alox for collecting lately, that I'm in ignorance of the cellidor scene. It was nice to simply buy a classic knife for a reasonable price that I will use, a nice change from scanning the auction sites looking to pay huge prices for knives that were never meant to cost so much.

Champion Plus :D

I am new to SAKs so right now from what I have my best SAK and I love it is a sapphire blue LED SAK. Now I would like to also have a Deluxe Tinker or Craftsman.

Oh and a magnifying glass :D
Favourite SAK is too tricky but I think I can tell you what was my favourite Wenger...

Not from a practical point of view but simply because of the amount of drool it could induce :D

A pin is handy too :D
@Neil what is that? it's   worthy :tu:

My millenium was most drool worthy :D Its sadly had to go in the cull but I know where its gone and it will once again be well cared for :)

I would go for a Champion plus they are big and cheap at about $30
-
I havent owned very many SAK's but my favorite that I have is the cybertool 29, not too bulky and have alot of options for the size, (eight screwdrivers in one layer? :o )
Espescially when paired with a multitool. I dont own a spirit yet but I'm planning on buying one and think it will be a excelent companion, with very little duplication. It would probaly be my ultimate SAK if it lost the can / bottle opener layer and replaced the small knife with a combi-tool.

Oh I give up... :ahhh That is a beaut, I must say...

I have a Tinker 84mm and I quite like the size, but alox scales would be better. The closest is the Cadet II which looks exactly like what I need, but I can't justify buying one at the prices I find on eBay.

You could take a look at Number 74 here: Click.. (http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,20464.msg384541.html#msg384541)
-
Saw that, but a bit pricey when I already have a Tinker
-
Mine is the swisschamp. Has been since they came out and I traded up from my champion to it.
-
i just can't pick one TBH. they are like potato chips. each one is so perfect and different and you can't stop at just one. two or three layers will do me just fine. that being said i can't do w/o the classic, much as i like so many others.
-
Life would be so much easier if I had a favorite.
-
Explorer, of course!

+1

Alox soldier. I love how slim it is and the blade is rock solid. I use the reamer more than you would think as well. The can opener gets used as a (awesome) staple puller, and the flat head/bottle opener is used nearly daily as a prybar or bottle opener. Probably my favorite Knife of all time.
-
My favourite is the Farmer, in particular the one that will land on my doormat today :D
Thankyou Neil, I promise I'll look after it well.

A pruning blade on a plastic-handled knife? Is that a custom mod?
-
Yeoman is still my favorite, with the Pioneer Harvester a close second.

No, that looks like a "Master Gardener", a limited edition knife made by Vic for Smoky Mountain Knife Works a couple years back. Pruning blades used to be a regular part of the 91mm line back in the 70s and 80s with the Picnicker and Outdoorsman, but I think the Master Gardener is the first one Vic has made in years with one (except for the gigantic kitchen sink "collector" models).
-
Ya I suspect they didn't unfold the inline-phillips (I'm surprised I can't see it foldeded though); and someone wanted the nice green scales off the MG so they extracted those and replaced them with the Blue Translucent ones.
-
It's a very subjective choice but one of my favourite "city" sak is the little wenger porsche design, especially because of the ergonomy and tiny screwdriver. Very few models have this tool.
Any sak with lock system and saw is nice as "outdoor" sak but I have to think to say precisely.
The bernina one is very special and I like this kind of speSmurfpillsed sak. A complete sak for gardening, with a wooden handle (?) would be great (not only with 1-2 tools).
-
My favorite is the Tinker. But that could be replaced by the Hiker when I end up grabbing one.
I like to whittle some so the addition of a saw (hiker) pretty much covers what I need in a SAK/
Whittling knife for carry.
-
as a Farmer is my EDC , I suppose the Farmer is my favorite.
-
For me right now I have two favs: The Deluxe Tinker and Minichamp.
-
+2 explorer
-
I don't have a favorite....they are all my favorites....therein lies the problem I guess. :D

Indeed :ahhh :D
-
Alox Soldier. It just feels best in my hands, and has the tools I need most.
I love my Farmer, too, and I don't want to live without it, but it just doesn't feel that good in my hands. I have quite small hands, and 2 layers feels a little bit better than 3 for me.
-
I love my Huntsman today. Today is a cellidor day :D
-
Kinda caught between the alox Soldier and Explorer plus today.
-
ATM it's between this recruit:

or this pocket pal:
all subject to change at any moment ;)
-
Those are sweet.
-
Climber with a mini screwdriver tucked in the corkscrew.
That little mini screwdriver makes a big difference. :tu:
and the Compact.
and if I get my hands on an Alox with a pair of scissors, then that'll be on the list as well. :D

The greatest SAK of all time..........
