Title: Sherlock Holmes and the Swiss Army Knife
Post by: macabee on September 28, 2011, 12:01:10 PM: I am convinced that given the opportunity he would have obtained a "Modell 1890" SAK initially progressing to later models considering the timeframe of the books.

But what SAK would ‘Sherlock Holmes’ have in his pocket to day?

The Explorer with magnifying glass and useful tweezers, or perhaps the SwissChamp with the whole caboodle, but a bit too big for the pocket, there again he could place it on his belt [if worn!] if that were the case then perhaps the SwissTool, or would that be too heavy.

The Compact would be good, or perhaps the Executive, or............

I could go on and on.

What do you think would be best :cheers:
