I'll tell you how much...I've just bought a second, squeaky clean, new Original one :D

True, but those things wouldn't be as squeaky clean as his new Swisstool, now would they?  :D
Swisstool less likely to give him a nasty rash :D :D , But then again we do not know how Mike carries his swisstool & he does love them so :P :P :D :D

I dunno, I asked Tim for a late on if possible, but I'm not to fussed as this will be my beater tool >:D, and if it gets broken (bloody unlikely) I'll have the brilliant Victorinox waranty to fall back on (none of the 25 year rubbish for me :D).

The X will be edc's for home and non abusive tasks :), and before you ask, no it's not for sale Dunc :D, It was a gift from my parents for making it to thirty :D

The boat(HMS MD) would sink ,due too the insane load of cobblers it was carrying, before it could cast its anchor :P :D

For the one-handed opening tools, the better sheath (horizontal carry, holds bit drivers flat, two web pockets for a flashlight)............. :D :D

.......heavy duty scissors, properly ground drivers, good locking tools ( no up and down play),needle nose pliers, and even a proper crimper!

Nah, I only take diet cobbler's now, and they don't weigh much :D

I have a serious letch for an RS . I like the curved serated blade with a blunt tip . The Rescue Tool won me over to that config big time . Vickies are reasonably cheap , as compared to stuff I've been into in the past .

The new head design is definatly a lot stiffer than the old one, so thats an improvement :), but over and above that, it's just as good as the X, but I do miss the scissors ::)

I've not really had cause to use it hard yet, but when I do I won't be babying it >:D
