I dunno, I asked Tim for a late on if possible, but I'm not to fussed as this will be my beater tool >:D, and if it gets broken (bloody unlikely) I'll have the brilliant Victorinox waranty to fall back on (none of the 25 year rubbish for me :D).
-
That's a lotta love for the Swisstool. :D
It will be interesting to see which one you carry more.
-
So if the new ones going to be a beater will your X become a draw queen and is it still in good nick ?
Dunc

The boat(HMS MD) would sink ,due too the insane load of cobblers it was carrying, before it could cast its anchor :P :D

For the one-handed opening tools, the better sheath (horizontal carry, holds bit drivers flat, two web pockets for a flashlight)............. :D :D
-
.......heavy duty scissors, properly ground drivers, good locking tools ( no up and down play),needle nose pliers, and even a proper crimper!

OH! Yes, of course. :D

I have a serious letch for an RS . I like the curved serated blade with a blunt tip . The Rescue Tool won me over to that config big time . Vickies are reasonably cheap , as compared to stuff I've been into in the past .

The new head design is definatly a lot stiffer than the old one, so thats an improvement :), but over and above that, it's just as good as the X, but I do miss the scissors ::)
I've not really had cause to use it hard yet, but when I do I won't be babying it >:D
