It's been a long time cominig but I finally got a chance to break out my Grizzly by Beeman for a little fun.
I have not had the opportunity to do any target practice in so long I was a little concerned I might end up embarrasing myself. Low and behold I'm not quite as bad as I feared. Set up the target

took 50 paces back and took 5 shots and made 5 holes. :woohoo: :woohoo: 5 for 5 :ahhh :ahhh

Admittedly it's not my best grouping but it's also been 20 plus years sense I got to spend any serious time practicing so I'm ok with it.

Sure was fun and maybe I can get some time to rehone the skills. Who knows maybe I'll get back to splitting a pellet on a knife blade and getting a 10 for 5 again some day.

Then for good measure I broke out the Ol' '70s model Daisy trainer, a little oil on the pad and :woohoo: :woohoo: she still works. Not near the ability of the Beeman, but it's still a Pride N Joy from my youth. Thanks Dad.

Cool stuff, Douglas! :like:
Love me some BB and pellet shooting. :)

does bring back memories, like tossing pecans for you to try to hit. You were only 6 years old but you were so proud when you hit one. A little later it was you upset when you missed one.

You've got SAKs older than that. You should show more apreciation for a piece of true craftsmanship such as myself.

Great shootin' there Tex! :tu:
I love shooting my pellet guns. Unfortunately I don't get to do it as much as I used to! If you really want to have fun, get some Firebird reactive targets. They explode when you hit them, kind of like a bigger version of the caps we used to play with in the 70's.
Much bigger! :D
