More great pictures as usual Ed! :tu: Wow, your woods looks a lot different than my woods. Different trees and bushes and everything so green. Very beautiful. :salute:

Oh, and that purple spydie is

Thank you Bob.

The air was so fresh when I went for a walk this morning because it rained for several hours from late last night till dawn. During my walk I was trying to photograph butterflies but I can't catch them up with their too erratic paths.

I have read that there are poison ivy is some part of USA. Is it common in your woods, Bob?

Yes, poison ivy is common around here Eddie. But it is not a big problem, you simply have to watch out for it and avoid it. The worst time for poison ivy is in the summer, but the flies and mosquitoes in the woods are really bad that time of year too, so most people just stay out of the thick woods in the summertime.

My favorite time in the woods is in the autumn. :) The temperatures are cooler, the trees are prettier, and the bugs and poison ivy are all dead. :D

Most people I know use Cortisone or hydercortisone.

I just scratch it a lot until my skin peels off :)

Wouldn't scratching it spread it?

Lovely pics :D

No poison ivy in the UK luckily for us, although I've certainly had to avoid it elsewhere! Coincidentally, I'm watching the Walking Dead, and someone just mentioned having wiped their nether regions with it whilst lost in the woods :ahhh
