I know there's loads of us who want these, but if anyone has any spare (or cheap beater pioneers etc) please let me know. I have some paypal cash.
I plan on modding my remaining 91mm SAK's (Swisschamp, Camper, Spartan and Tinker) with the awl.

Step 1: open the small blade
Step 2: grab your Dremel
Step 3: put a cutting disc on your Dremel
Step 4: grind the small blade into an awl
Step 5: close this thread

I would rather have the actual awl - it's one of my favourite SAK tools.

A file will do the job too :D
And there is something that makes the awl stand out on a SAK... don't know what, but there is.

That is a sweet ILA 60, but I wouldn't want to butcher it for the booty - it's too lovely. :salute: Thanks anyway! :cheers:

I feel the same way about wrecking a beauty as that :facepalm: :D

It's not exactly perfect. I had already ground the key ring off and taken to the screw driver /cap lifter (unsuccessfully/ground too much away) to make a scraper edge like the old style soldiers have.
that was before I had any Soldiers. Now I have 4 and rarely use them as well. :)
