Title: Profile Picture?
Post by: AdmSlc on December 27, 2012, 04:09:41 AM
How do I change my profile picture? I've tried doing it the normal way but I keep getting an error message?

That depends.  There are two ways to do it- one is to link to an avatar hosted somewhere else.  To do that you need to find the photo you want, copy the direct link, select "Specify Avatar By URL" and paste it in the box.  Make sure there are no image tags or any other crap.  To get the direct link you can either copy it from Photobucket, Flikr or another photo hosting website, or if it's not on a hosted website you can right click on the photo and select "Copy Image Location."

The other way you can do it is to upload an avatar, and that's as simple as clicking the Browse button and locating the file you want.

If you are still having trouble you can email the photo to me at grant.lamontagne@gmail.com and I will try to set it up for you.
