This is taal lake and taal volcano located in Luzon, the biggest island of our country, Philippines.
We went there last Saturday Dec. 13, 2014.

The lake itself is a big crater.

nhoj, we haven't experience any snow here in our place.
Here's a closer look of the crater within the lake (also a crater). Although the volcano has been quiet since 1977, it has shown signs of unrest since 1991.
This volcano is a complex volcano and it is the second most active volcano in the Philippines with 33 historical eruptions. All of these eruptions are concentrated on Volcano Island, an island near the middle of lake.
