I am well known for doing things backwards, so for my birthday I am going to give YOU a present! Well, some of you anyway!
Since I am going to be 44 tomorrow (October 20th) which is a Saturday I have decided to celebrate all weekend, and I want all of you to celebrate with me- after all, we have a few members with birthdays over the next few days, we can all celebrate as one!

This is a terrible thing to say, but in the beginning I sort of wrote it off as another tool that probably wasn't going to go anywhere. I almost brushed them off when they first contacted me, because I assumed it was just another silly Kickstarter idea. I thought at the very least I'd see if I could get one for testing, then post a silly review about using it to try and survive on a deserted island or something, but the more I see of it, the more I am legitimately liking the tool, and that's why I decided to sign up to distribute their products. The fact is, we are now officially in charge of their products for all of North America, which is pretty darned cool. Hell, some brands (won't mention which ones, but they don't include Victorinox, Gerber or SOG) won't let us sign up as an authorized dealer because I don't have a brick and mortar storefront, so being a distributor for a new brand is extra exciting.
I don't know if you saw the latest video, but it shows a guy using a log to pound it into some bamboo to use as an axe, inside the bamboo handle, rather than just tying it on the outside as we were all expecting. It's got to be able to take a bit of a pounding as an axe, and hammering it into the bamboo handle is certainly indicative of it's ability to stand up to some punishment.
