Let me ask it...

See? Old people can use smartphones. :pok: :P

That very much depends on your definition of smart:
1) clean, tidy, and well dressed.
My Phone dresses in a very nice case from Spigen, while I hang around in outdoors cloth... So yeah, in that department I would say, the phone outsmarts me
2) having or showing a quick-witted intelligence.
My phone does nothing and shows no initiative. Sure, it has lots of knowledge but it needs guidance to use it... Yay, I'm smarter than my phone.
P.S.: I would not call Bixbi smart either... it is rather the village drunk that gets on everybody's nerves.

My new car seems to be smarter than both me and my phone put together. Last week it was running low on fuel, and after strongly hinting to me it was time to refuel (several times, with escalating messages but with no discernible result), it then moved to the next level and demanded to know if I needed it to find the nearest petrol station (and it was then going to give me explicit directions on exactly how to get there !)
If it is unhappy with how I have positioned it in the current lane it nudges the steering wheel to try to get itself exactly where it thinks it should be;
it has these fancy adaptive matrix LED headlights that detect when there is a car (or cars) somewhere in the beam and dips that part of the beam while leaving the rest of the beam on Hi (it seems to have 4 segments to Hi beam);
It has radar controlled cruise control that maintains its distance from the car in front (and varies the distance depending on how fast you are going);
and of course it has auto headlights and wipers too.
Too bloody smart by a long margin :rofl:
-
I told you my car was smarter than me, I was trying to modify my post (above) and somehow managed to create a new (unwanted) post instead. I bet that dammed car wouldn't have done that.

Mine has stuck around far longer than the years that have passed. I'm currently mentally just a few months over half my age. :D

I mean, the government is giving me a fake id I can use, saying that I'm overage. :D

I still use a flip phone, and the cheap prepaid smartphone I use as a mini-tablet rarely gets used for anything but gaming, music, and to run the programming software for robotics kits that don't use PC software.
