I got invited to a kayak flotilla this weekend. It was a little last minute, and a hundred and some miles away, but I still managed to go.
It was an event set up by the Friends of the Pugwash Estuary that I found out is an annual event. It was a fun trip and I enjoyed it greatly.
Unfortunately the Go pro Gods ensured the Go pro wasn't running for the trip despite me having started it, and in the rougher water I lost one end of my spare paddle.
Despite the problems and the long drive to get there and back I had a great time. I'm looking forward to doing it again next year!
