Day 20:

I just read that Clarence “Bud” Anderson, WWII fighter pilot and triple flying ace (America’s last living triple ace, in fact) and squadron mate and good friend of Chuck Yeager, flew west on May 17 at age 102.

Here’s a shot of his autobiography in memorial.  :salute:

My smoking days are over, but I still keep a Bic on hand. They're the best thing I've found for melting the ends of paracord. Something that doesn't require fuel is preferred for making fire out in the bush.

Thanks, Dan.  I threw in the blue Bic just to get some color.  I must have found it lying somewhere.  I don't smoke and don't buy lighters. Best wishes.  G

Looking good Anti!
Perhaps you can move the awl to an inside space and keep the file and regular saw? You can place the saw blade where the exchanger was and have the awl next toit, and then have the cile on the other outside slot.
Actually that worked, awl rest top of file, just needed to remove bottle opener/flathead and add file. Removed u-shank and added saw and that bottle opener/flathead.
Now i have solid saw and file added along other tools.
Thanks for great tip Juan.

Filed my nails smooth after trimming them. No photos of that. Put the Micra to rest for another day

Were it a 91mm, I'd say 1986-2005. I don't know if the 84mm tang stamps changed at the same time, though. A very sweet SAK!

Thanks, was unsure when the red metal scales with brass pins were discontinued and replaced with cellidor. Maybe someone will know!

It's almost as slim as my Alox Bantam, lovely thing. Not much restoring was needed on this as well, in very nice condition.  :)

hmm need to test that one but not sure does awl side rest over file since PX awl has that bended topside.
