Title: Are Victorinox knives WITHOUT emblem or logo rare?
Post by: EMZ on October 07, 2018, 09:27:58 PM
The picture has been posted before in another thread. But I have a question about the two blue knives at the right side.
These two knives have NO logo/emblem at all. Is this a rare occasion? Or does it happen more often? I've never seen Vic's without any cross before.
Does anyone know if it is (very) special, or not??

Some are sold as blanks for advertising use, but that's about all I'm familiar with.

My Explorer has white plus scales with no logo. Like cody says, they're advertising scales that haven't been printed. A lot of dealers have a surplus of them and I wouldn't say they're rare.

Off the top of my head as I am too lazy to dig thru my tubs of Vic’s, factory blank alox?

At there very end of the Wenger SI line, their w/cross scale stamp must have broken as they produced a line of SIs with no stamp.  Blank on both sides.  Kinds cool.  Almost bought one for 40 euros, but decided to pass.
