So, the rules are:
-carry the same copper flashlight as your edc light for 30 days straight
-post daily pictures in this thread
-use the copper light as much as humanly possible, but if you keep a bedside or car light for emergencies or need something that your copper light can't get done (like 300 yard stuff for a keychain light) then do what you need to. This challenge should not jeopardize your safety in any way. Just make sure you use your copper light for everything else.
-post comparison photos on day 30 of the patina (if any) that your light acquired during the challenge.
Here is the prize!! A Saddleback Leather copper pen. These things are nice, raw copper and have a cool open/close feature. I liked it so much I ordered two. One for me, and one for the prize. I will do the drawing after the challenge ends, and ship the prize after I get home from the cruise. Good luck everyone!! You must complete the challenge to enter the drawing.

Heres an idea, if you plan on replacing your computer during the challenge, take a pic on each day and save them in your camera until you have a way to upload them. I may do that but to be honest I have no idea when I will be able to afford a new computer. I can't even afford the basics around the house let alone a new computer. I am wanting to sell some tools and knives but can't provide pictures for the sale thread.
Very sorry to hear that cap, I understand you not buying a new computer in that situation! Maybe you can get to a public library or internet cafe somewhere to upload the for-sale pictures from your camera if you need to. I hope things work out well to your benefit!

Its 300+ through a 10440. It does take aaas if you need it to though

I live in Georgia, USA, where it's always humid. I started carrying mine brand new when the challenge started. Also, I go to the gym every morning and put it in my pocket after I shower so maybe that accelerated it somewhat

All i3E EOS lights are IPX8. But only the silver and copper has a lumens of 120. The rest are 90 lumens

From the pic, my copper light seems to have taken a brownish shade compared to day 1 pic... but maybe lighting conditions had something to do with it.
Carrying a copper light for 30 days is cool. And has some appeal to it. It's AAA size is just right for edc... Just need to remember to take it out of the pocket before chuckin it in the washing machine...
Definitely will be carrying this again in the future as it is still in my edc rotation...Just wished that it has multiple power modes like the i3S or Thrunite Ti3 at the very least... since I'm fancying multipurpose lights, I wished that the H1R Nova also came in copper... :facepalm:

We are leaving out of Tampa :tu: First time at that port but I have sailed out of most of the other ports that are within 12-16 hour drive from us though :cheers:

It is a great prize that I would be proud to receive, but I like jaya_man's idea of donation to MT.O. Def could certainly use it to help keep this site running.

Port Canaveral is probably my favorite port :salute: Puerto Rico is always hot :ahhh :D I really like St. Maarten and never been to Haiti so that one should be interesting :like:
We are going on just a 5 day this time around and only to Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico :tu: I like both of those stops and we can get a taxi quick to beaches there also very nice beaches at both :like:
