Title: Anyone able to identify this ChinaChamp?
Post by: Vas on February 04, 2019, 06:32:47 AM
Got this as a Christmas gift and have been searching for a brand name/website listing. No such luck so far  :( I'd appreciate if anyone knows where this came from and I would recommend it in terms of SAK knockoffs  8) Tools are thinner than they should be but sharp and functional!

A lot of companies have put their brand on those. I have a Coast tool with some identical implements. Without the brand stamped on it, there isn't a reliable way to ascertain the brand.  :ahhh

Welcome to MT.o, Vas! :tu:

Those implements look miles above the standard knock-offs I've seen. And it looks quite nice.
Welcome to the forum!

Thank you both for the warm welcome! I checked out the Home Depot site and found some sweet Coast knives for cheap  :woohoo: Might make a visit this week.

Some of those Coast knives feel well made! Not sure of the steel they use(probably 8cr13mov or 7cr14mov) though. Please let us know what you think about the Coast blade when you get it.
