Its a Vic Hunter supplied to the UK armed forces ( RAF I think and hope to confirm later ) by GQ Parachutes .
Like to say thanks to NKB over at the SOSAK forums . I'm really pleased with this one and wont make the mistake I did before and sell it ::)

I've seen you use it before, it's so beautiful! (but I'm always tempted to put a shark fin in it ;))

Myself and friends have been known to start a shark rumour in the pub ;)

Thanks for the nice pictures dunc. That particular location of the last shot could be a nice spot for model pictorial.

It would be nice to have some of the " models " which often feature in your photos  :D

Just found 3 pics of the Hunter I used to have . The first pics in this thread were facing North , these pics are in just about the same place but facing South .

I wonder what the wooden posts did to Dunc?
all sweet shots boss ;)

Nice one Dunc, just don't bloody sell this one :twak:, I love the old style 111mm, since the OH series, they kinda get overlooked :-\
-
Nice! Def will be after that one.
Def's already got one on the way and turned Dunc onto this one! :D
I can't wait- I traded for one and got a couple of Opinels to boot! :D

That's nice looking. How do you think that little serrated blade would be for all around light duty stuff?
-
It's nice but since the tip is rounded it can be hard to fit it into tight places.

The biggest weakness I can see with the big 111's is that the main blade is awfully big and may raise eyebrows if used in a "knife sensitive" place. Having a second smaller knife blade is good for those types of situations.

Fudge'em....
Show them the Vic cross and make fun of them for being candy asses. Who's afraid of a Swiss Army Knife huh? Quick, get behind me, here comes a pack of mean looking boy scouts... :pok:

Scaring and/or pissing off the sheeple is a good way to get knives banned so IMHO it would behoove us to at least think about what we do.

Nice score Dunc!!
(a couple years ago before Dunc started using it has a photo prop, the top of that post was smooth and flat!) :D

Giving in to them can also have the same effect. d to the idea that knives are a utility tool and that not everyone that carries a knife is a murderous lunatic, then we'd have less people whining and coming up with restrictive laws!

Got one of those. Sweet ain't they?? ;)

I've often wondred how the gut hook would work as a rescue blade. I feel the non OH 111mm blades could benefit greatly from a scagel teatment.

I remember taking part in a thread about this either on here or over at SOSAK forums  I dont think the gut hook blade would make a very good rescue blade as its too short and doesnt lock . It would do in a pinch if that was all you had on you . Anythings better then nothing .

Certainly would make blade deployment faster :)
