Title: Ti Lite Pics
Post by: Paul on February 05, 2010, 04:14:32 PM
I've finaly got one of these after having my eye one for years. No point in doing a review because it's probably been done here loads and it's a pretty old knife. Like all my new stuff I take pics to put in the collection folder.

Looks good, but I confess I'm more excited about all the lovely colours of paracord you have!  :D

Got some more on the way - this one is very nice  - It's called "water cammo"  I think.

Very nice shots!  I have the aluminum scaled unit although I don't really care for it as an edc
it makes a wonderful letter opener. :)

They are great aren't they.  :)

Sadly (as do all my bloody knives it seems  ::)) mine developed play that despite a quick trip to a UK store never got solved.  :(

I may be stating the obvious here: but, a T10 torx fits the pivot and a little tightening will stop any play - if you put a little LockTite on the thread and then tighten until you get a nice balance between smoothness and no play. I did this with my Benchmade 921 and it's never loosened up since. One of the benefits of an adjustable pivot.

Course' for all I know, the 'play' could be in the other direction....in which case I'm clueless.

It is indeed vertical play not horizontal and the worse kind as it comes and goes.  :-\

I have had this knife to bits many times, tightened bits, filed down bits, locktite'd bits and after a bit of waving the bloody thing still has play.

Sadly I have given up on it now and it rarely sees any pocket time because of it (liner lock + play = big no no for me).  :(

It is pretty much unheard of though to be fair.
