These ones do come up more often than some of the others, but it also looks in new condition so that might catch interest from people that already have one. If it hits $93 like that black one did a couple weeks back I might passout.

All are NIB apart from the Ribbed Cadet.
My personal favourite is the Gun Metal.

Just for your info the last Autumn Orange NIB I saw on eBay sold for $76.00

That model really looks much oranger than the 53.046 autumn orange, that looks more yellow than orange.
I checked on Sakwiki, but the Cadet autumn orange is not the code on the box...are you guys sure that this is not a new, or rare model?

Looks like a new "Orange" Alox (like Pioneer orange), rather than "Autumn Orange". Looks like it should be showing up at dealers here in the US.... time to go searching. Hard to tell from pictures sometimes, but I have to go with the number.

I have an autumn orange (& copper) and the autumn is really very close to the copper, not even remotely orange IMO - not that bright flashy orange at all :drool: - I tried for both of those and missed :( Anyone out there have one they'd be interested in passing along ::) Doesn't need to be NIB (nothing needs to be NIB for me). Would look great next to the orange pioneer & farmer ;) If you're getting any Tim, put me on the list!!

Post by: ICanFixThat on May 05, 2011, 11:02:24 PM: I was told today by a Victorinox dealer that these are the same color as the Autumn Orange cadets, but in different packaging; however the ebay knife was shown in a box, so I'm not sure they really know.

Anyway with the US number I'm holding tight, as the local price will be a lot less than those ebay sales.

I ordered a couple to see what the deal is... nice thing is I paid $15.xx, and for that price I'm willing to accept them no matter what color they are. I have a feeling someone is buying them from SO and selling them on ebay... I think we'll see a few more get listed there.

It was good work on your part that's for sure. :salute:
I just hope all the ones that sold cheap don't just end up on eBay.
If I find some more for sale I will gladly help out any one here on MTO who wants one.

We're sure lucky you're cave is equiped with what's hip. I was ready to let it go until you nicely spotted that number on the box... Thanks for waking me up. I connected it with the thread on SOSAK where Orange Cadets were spotted a couple weeks ago at the Outpost, and sure enough there was a close enough match in the numbers that I got pretty excited. They got more in stock, but by the time it took me to complete checkout, they were out of stock... so there was obviously a few people watching them. A couple forum members tried to alert me to the stock, but I had not logged in for a few days. Luckily I was already on the case.

I emailed them and they told be they were the same as the 53046.... but since I know a little about the SABI numbers I was not convinced.... fortunately I asked when they might get more stock and they said "TODAY!". I was in the right place at the right time.

The website showed the Model as 50048, the precise packaging shipped was 53048 as shown in the picture. They had SUPER fast shipping, I never expected them to arrive today.

I'm still curious as to why SwissOutpost seems to be the only source for these even though they have a North American model number. I'm wondering if they were made for a dealer in Canada, or another one in the US that were were not aware of (seems strange), until they started being cleared out. According to two different sources this model is discontinued... but we'll see if anymore arrive at the Outpost, I know at least 1 forum member has asked them about further shipments, but right now I don't know the status of that. They never said so, but maybe these were made for SO by request.

It's been a pretty good week for the SAK collection.

Yep, I managed to get a few from Swissoutpost before they all sold out. :salute:
I contacted as many people as I could to let them know they were for sale again.
