My personal background: I'm an avid tinkerer, maker, fixer, DIYer, and over-all gearhead! I've had multi-tools since I was around 8 years old (cheap no name was the first I had). Since then I've had Gerbers, Leathermans, Shrade, SAK, as well as a few lesser known. I'm a US Navy Veteran, I used to fly on P3-Orions as an In-Flight Technician (my ol' Gerber kept that ol' bird flying!). Since 2015 I've been working on designing a modular pivot system, so I can have a customizable tool that I can modify on the go.
GOAT Tools is the company I founded in 2017 to complete this venture. I'm amazed I didn't know about this forum several years ago! But I am excited to get some feedback from fellow tool enthusiasts! I'll be posting more info about the future tool & the company in the R&D and Crowdfunding sections.

Here you will find great likeminded and also extremely friendly and helpful people.
I myself am a venturing down the entrepreneurial route, however I am just starting out now, this year, and I am not in the tool industry.
I am interested in seeing what your company has to offer, sounds like an interesting business idea you have come up with.
