Looking for small quantities of brass rod for SAK mods? I have the following kits available
Victorinox 84mm kit £3.50
Contents: 4 x 2.2 mm rods (same diameter for all rivets)
Victorinox 91mm kit £3.00
Contents: 2 x 2.5 mm (end pivots) and 2 x 2.2 mm (back tools and 4th pin)
Victorinox 93mm kit £2.50
Contents: 2 x 3.0 mm (end pivots), 1 x 2.5 mm (centre pin)
Each rod in the kits is 165 mm (6 1/2") long for ease of posting. You'll get 4 or maybe 5 finished pins out of each rod, depending on the total number of layers.
[Edit 19/03/18: I underestimated the weight of the envelopes ::) so I'll have to change the prices slightly.]

First class untracked postage costs for up to 2 kits as follows:
UK £1.50
Europe £3.00
Rest of world £4.00
First class untracked postage costs for 3 or more kits as follows:

Yes. All the rods are 165 mm long.
84 mm kit = 4 x 165 mm x 2.2 mm
91 mm kit = 2 x 165 mm x 2.2 mm; 2 x 165 mm x 2.5 mm
93 mm kit = 2 x 165 mm x 3.0 mm; 1 x 165 mm x 2.5 mm
If you just want 2.2 mm rod because you've already got some 2.5 mm, get the 84 mm kit. Hope that's clear. :salute:

I might still buy a set or two from you, as with these I might actually stand a chance of finishing my mod this side of the big crunch/heath death of the universe/ big rip/ or whatever mode of ending it's existence this universe finally settles on. :D

Got 20 x 2.2 mm rods in stock, along with plenty of 2.5 and 3.0. If you want to order some PM me - I won't be able to post until next week but if you're in the UK (or Ireland :pok:) you should get it by next weekend at the latest if you order before Monday.

Not yet. My normal source doesn't have any available so I've just ordered some from elsewhere. The price for the 84 and 91 mm kits is going to have to go up a little though - will work out exactly what they'll be later.

Watch out Mechy for some of the cheep online sellers - their stock is often 3.2 mm not 3mm, but they still call it 3mm... You'd have to stick it in a chuck and spin-sand it to the correct dia.

It can be tricky to see the difference between them so worth getting your micrometer or some calipers out to measure.

Thanks for the information concerning PMs. I have a 84mm silver alox victorinox voyageur model that I would like to replace the main blade on. The blade has been sharpened improperly. Do you know if the 84mm brass rod kits you sell are the proper size to get for this swiss multi-tool.

I'm going to stop selling these kits of parts once my current stock of materials has run out. I have enough for 10 to 20 of each kit (84 mm, 91 mm and 93 mm) depending on who buys what. No change to prices or shipping costs as shown in the first post. :salute:

That's pretty much all of my 2.2 mm rod gone. Well - I'm keeping some for myself, but only a few pieces.
I do have a small quantity of 2.5 and 3.0 mm brass so can do a few 93 mm kits if anyone wants it. Otherwise, I'll get this thread closed at the end of the month. :salute:
