I don't have one but all the reviews I've seen and the testimonials are all positive. The use of the hollow handle for stoirage purposes is a common thing. The price you mention is also very reasonable. Does it come with a sheath? If not, it's easy to make one.

I'd say go for it!

I'd bought it of offer from Bear Arms. I like it,I like the idea of using it as a spear/assegai head, but I've never used it for anything yet.

Very soft steel, slippery handle which is open on both end and tapers down TOWARDS the edge, storage looks neat on paper but pointless in real use, very thin blade.

If you want it as a spear head or throw in the trunk and might use it one day, it's okay. But if you are looking for a frequent user I'd take even a Mora over it.

Cheers mate,i was hoping the blade was thicker  :-\ plus i really wanted to store kit in the handle and wrap it,possibly all these things not so easy to do  :-\

worth the money IMO.
you'll have trouble breaking one ! not quite sure why you need to put survival kits in knife handles ??? there is a bloody great pocket on the sheath that will hold quite a lot, and if you drop/lose the knife you'd still have the 'kit'. also if the handle is 'full' you can't turn the thing into a 'spear' (which is REALLY good fun ! very dangerous  >:D and totally pointless against any wildlife in the UK ! good for zombies I would imagine)
I put a bit of bicycle innertube over the handle for grip, and it works well. I'm sure there are other options  tape perhaps ? para cord wrapping never works well for me. makes the handle a lot thicker. never seems to be tight enough and holds water and dirt.
GET ONE and beat the smurf out of it and smile lots  :D (I haven't regretted spending the money on mine, not once )
looking on HH site there seems to be a 'survival' variant, with a plastic sheath that looks kinda cool. with firesteel. mine is the cheeper one with old style sheath but the knife looks the same. now I'm tempted to buy another one  thanks ZED !
