Title: Chopper badge attempt
Post by: RF52 on June 12, 2019, 05:17:04 PM
Packed my backpack and took the dog out in the woods after work to test my new campknife/chopper(impulse buy at a good price)
The knife is a Brusletto Villmann and Brusletto calls it their ultimate campknife.
It has a 440C blade which is 22.5 cm/8.8 inch long, the total lenght is 36 cm/14.1 inch.
It was a pleasure to chop some kindling for a small fire(because fires are nice regardless of size) and it also makes decent feather sticks, but the user might need some more practice
And I tested it some on a dry branch and didn't have any problems chopping that one either.

Overall I like this knife very much and hope to find some more uses for it down the road (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190612/da08aeb76ac8033131f3329818c00e5b.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190612/a43c60bf21a0b5d7ef1c9bb0abd1f4cd.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190612/e8135b8aaaa9da54b8418ea9462c7848.jpg)

Congrats on the new badge, RF52!

That's a handsome looking blade, how thick is it?   :like:

Though I have no real use for choppers in an urban setting, I always like to use one whenever I do get to go outdoor.

In a urban environment it's not the most useful but in the great outdoors you can do a lot with a big knife
