When someone starts a new thread and it has a long title it can be quite awkward for me to follow over time on my phone. The reason is that the "new" button which takes you to the first unread post of that thread, can be wrapped onto the second line of the thread title. Trying to hit this button on my phone usually results in me hitting the thread title itself which takes me to the start of the thread, or hitting the username of whoever started it, or the subforum name, depending on how long the title is and where the button ends up.
Would it be an easy tweak to put the button at the start of the thread title? I think this would make it significantly easier to navigate to where I want to go without being taken off to members profiles, subforums, or having to scroll through the thread manually to find where I left off.
I don't know if the same things happens on other phones, but as it stands it can be virtually impossible to hit the "new" button on long titles on a Blackberry with the current format

Maybe I should clarify, I mean the new button in the "show unread posts" list, or "show new relipes" list

Have you tried using the mobile version of the forum? That solves the problem by having a full sized button on the right side of the screen when there are new posts.

I have, and it's a lot better than Tapatalk was. However, I can reasonably comfortably view and navigate the main site on a BB Passport, aside from occasional bouts of bad typing lag, and this one button issue. If I was using a smaller screened phone, or something without a keypad, I would probably use the mobile version. That's why I asked if it would be an easy tweak, I would imagine the problem is specific to very few users, and as far as I can see it wouldn't introduce new problems for others.
If however, it's not a simple click or two, or this would adversely affect others, I'm quite happy to consider it a quirk of the phone and tolerate it :salute:

You need a gmail account to download it, right? I have almost no apps in my phone because of that. Don't have a gmail account, don't want to get one...

Nope, no gmail, no software at all. Just click on mobile version at the bottom of the screen.

I did try the mobile version, a few times, but I always go back to the standard one. The mobile one does not feel right.

I'd like to add that on my BlackBerry Classic, the mobile version of the site doesn't format correctly. The donation tally and community links take up the right half of the screen, while being slightly overlapped by whatever I'm trying to view.
Edit: Also, my phone's keyboard macros won't work.

That doesn't seem like the Mobile version, that sounds like you are trying to view the standard version on a mobile device.
Scroll way down to the bottom of the page and click on the big button that says Mobile. That should make a big difference.

Nope, I'm on the full version now because it works. The mobile button is down there, and I'm not clicking it because it makes the site painful to use.

Here's a sample of what I'm talking about;

That doesn't happen on mine (Blackberry Passport)

Just tried it on my work phone, a Q5. It displayed like that at first, but then corrected itself once I had logged in.
Have you tried logging in on the mobile version?

Wow, that's pretty special right there....
I honestly don't know what, if anything can be done about that?

that's because your browser is reporting itself as desktop not mobile... in any case, clicking the [-] on the top left should hide it?
tested on my desktop, the minimize sidebar seems broken in the mobile theme, however if you switch to full, hide the sidebar and switch back to mobile you should be ok.
