I have the tactical barrette.

I wouldn't recommend it.

No, it is designed for life in California, which may not equate well to the rest of the world!  Still, it is an excellent concept, and I'd like to see if it goes somewhere.  I'd certainly buy one.

A company called Lightspeed is also coming up with a more typical, four wheeled sedan with solar integration, and it looks interesting as well.

That having been said, I'd probably buy the Aptera if it was available.

The Break Room / Your home emergency plan

I just found this link to developing an emergency plan and I thought I'd share it.

https://brnw.ch/21wI5xu

How many of you have an emergency plan, and how many of you have made sure everyone around you knows it inside and out?

I hope no one ever needs it, but it's well worth thinking about.

This was fun last year.  Lots of neat models.

It was in August for the inaugural run. I don’t know if that was just a good month for it or because of the alliteration.

I like utility knives because the blades are plentiful, cheap, and replaceable. This is not as cheap, but the blades are replaceable which means if wrecked, they are easily replaced.

Maybe I am missing something here, but I find the tent stake pull out tool to be a real pain to deploy.

I am a bit dissapointed in this one. The tent stake puller is a bear to dissengage around that stick out post where it hooks around it. I tried pushing said post inwards to no avail. The instructions didn't seem to help either. On the other hand, it would make a sturdy bag carrtier much like what victorinox has...only sturdier.
