As it turns out, I may trade this set for certain G-Shocks. Those I'd be interested in are black and basic (i.e. no sensors, Bluetooth, or rechargeable batteries). Negative displays would be desirable but not essential.

Day 04:

The green Explorer got a workout in the garden today. I used the scissors to trim spent flowers and leaves. I used the magnifying glass to check for aphids and to examine other bugs, and the main blade to scrape them off.

I would have edited the previous post, but apparently too much time has passed. That said, I may trade knife packages for certain G-Shocks. Those I'd be interested in are black and basic (i.e. no sensors, Bluetooth, or rechargeable batteries). Negative displays would be desirable but not essential.

I don't know if I'll go to look at it, what with all I have going on right now. And the Zippos have found a new home. But I'll definitely propose a trade if I go to look at it!

Day 4

Busy day for the Explorer.  I used the small blade to trim a cigar, scissors to trim my mustache and one of my daughter’s fingernails, large blade to cut the tags off a new bike for one of my daughters, and the hook to pull the strap back through the buckle to fix a bike helmet for another daughter.

Challenge totals:
Small Blade 6
Scissors 5
Large Blade 4
Hook 1

I'd observe from the sidelines, but joining in seems unlikely. I don't own any SAKs with more than five layers, and acquiring "monsters" is a low priority.

These two pair really well IMO, could carry these most days and feel well covered

I think the first Silvertech in this thread too :tu:
