Title: Tactical Marker with Carbon Fiber, Brass and Aluminum Options
Post by: SpiffyLab on January 16, 2015, 04:56:54 PM
The Tough Tactical Marker is now on Kickstarter! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/179537728/tactical-marker-pen

The Tough Tactical Marker, transforms the ubiquitous Every-Day-Carry (EDC) Sharpie into a unique, Tough EDC Tool that can used for camping, hiking, punching leather and sheet metal or using as an awl, loosening hard ground, breaking ice, prying, rope work and much more!

There is also a Tool Holder, to hold the tool tips not loaded onto the Tactical Marker. The Tool Holder is available as an add-on and comes in Carbon Fiber, Brass or Aluminum. See project updates #1 and #2 for details.

Thank you for taking a look.

I was also thinking about offering a Non-Sparking Tactical Marker, suitable for Zones 1 and 2 (Gas, Mists or Vapors), plus Zones 21 and 22 (Dusts). It would be made from Aluminum Bronze (AlBr).

Those would be cooler with a pocket clip on them.

The clip is the most requested (and most complicated) piece!
I'm trying to find an elegant clip solution, perhaps as a stretch goal.

Now with clip and screw-on cap!

OR you can try to drill a hole on top of the cap, then insert a small O ring, so that you can clip it with a Carabiner as an option.
