Just to hijack this thread.... Whoey did you add the flash (i think it's flash) pop up picture gallery when you click on a picture attachment thing? If so i don't like it!! I like the old version where it just makes the thumbnail bigger :)

I just center click on the pictures to open them in a new tab to save, myself. ^^;

+1 actually.

It's quite easy to revert actually...

Yeah for the Brits sticking together :D

Well i for one would appreciate it :) But see what everyone else thinks :)
-
It's snazzy an' all, but I prefer the old setup.
-
I've changed my mind now I know you can scroll through all of the images on a thread once the window is opened.
-
it is a fancy addin...
-
If you take one of the threads in "The Shutter Shop" - you can scroll through all the hot-linked and attached images from beginning to end. That's pretty cool actually.
-
I'm all for bells and whistles. Especially whistles! :D
-
Another vote for the old format.

Only image on the same page works for me.
-
I wonder why that is?
I can Previous / Next through the whole thread.
-
I also only get the page of the thread, not the whole thread... it's easy to tell by the counter at the bottom (1 of 9) type thing
-
What browser do you all use? I use Opera.
-
I'm with the frog on this one, BELLS AND WHISTLES :tu: Like this... :climber:
And I can only go for one page, but I'm good with that.
-
Just the page here too Firefox 3.5.3
-
Shiretoko 3.5.2 (Firefox for linux)
-
Maybe the full thread works on IE only?

It would be better without the annoying delay thou, new window comes up, slowly widen horizontally, then slowly widen vertically, then you see the image. And each time scrolls through them the window does the same thing, neeeee, a little taller, neeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, a little narrower, then the image shows up.
-
Safari :D

Mine is quite fast actually, zooms up and then zooms to the next one. A bit of a lag if I want to cycle pics fast, but I don't mind at all.
-
Still forever compare to the old one.

OK that's what I'm getting I think. I was looking at the Scenery (http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,3062.0.html) thread and click on the very first image - I get "1 of 36" - there just happens to be a lot of photos on that page!
What browser do you all use? I use Opera.
Firefox.
I think speed-wise, it's no slower than the old way - certainly comparable.
-
might be something to do with your Computer, graphics card, (maybe even drivers) or internet connection...
It's pretty quick here, I can cycle thru a page of pics in a few seconds, way faster than I can scroll through said page.
-
It's not SLOW time wise, just very annoying to look at the window resizing itself every time.
-
lightbox is gone, was causing issues with IE users and youtube embedding... new similar mod installed, seems to work nicely in all the browsers I've tried (Opera, Chrome, Safari under windows and Firefox under linux)

Preferred the other one :(
This one makes my smilies look all bad :

-
And when clicked on it shows up like this:

-
well it's not perfect, but sure makes the photo threads more enjoyable...
-
Can we at least lose the border it puts round all embedded images please :-\
-
Personally I liked the last edition of the mod, but if there were problems with it then oh well. This mod seems to work fairly well on Safari for Mac, but the border on some of the images is a bit annoying. Nice on the picture threads though.
-
Well I don't care for the gray borders around the images either....but....why do some images have them, and some don't? ???

Sorry, my DSL went down for 16h :(
I'll try to remove the border... I think it depends on the URL of the image. I did sort of prefer the lightbox solution as well, but it seems IE was broken. (IMHO that's a browser issue...) maybe some day Microsoft will release a non broken browser instead of each version being broken differently...

Dare to dream buddy! :P

New one is removed as well... whiners
-
The pop-up image thing worked fine for me, but the old way was good enough. I wonder if some form of the image enlargement feature can be worked into the edcsource.com?
-
I thought the 2nd one was decent, other than the border issue.

Alright, we got our own way!
What shall we whine about next? >:D :D

chatroom, then PMs, then the trade forums... we'll axe them all :P
