Admired but did not buy. Until today, LM has 2 day FREE SHIPPING today only. So took advantage and ordered two other sheaths as well.

After checking the LM website few minutes ago, I noticed the Camo Realtree sheaths are already removed but if I go to the website on my first post, they still advertised? Not sure what's going on :think:...Anyhow, I hope some of you took advantage of this sale :tu:

I am beginning to wonder, ordered on the 19th, yet web site via log-in says order being processed, no shipping confirmation.
If you offer free 2 day expedited shipping, 4 days before Christmas, it would seem all orders would be a rush to get on the way. But site disclaimer says 3 days for order processing.
Then again, the Camo 4.5" sheaths web page may have been included on line as a mistake :oops:, I sure hope not as it was only reason a order was assembled.

Ordered a couple of items on the 19th but looks like the 2 days "free shipping" was a false advertisement when it comes to what I ordered because as of this morning, nothing received. Too late to receive it by now, they'll probably will ship after Christmas, which is okay with me, as long as they don't add the regular shipping cost to my credit card since their offer already expired. Haven't heard back from them since my order was placed :dunno:

Finally a LM Representative responded to my email and according to him, there is a mistake on the listing which, for some reason, it hasn't been corrected yet ::) The sale is for a Nylon Camo Velcro Sheaths, not the Leather Realtree Sheath shown in picture so, for those who ordered the Camo sheaths expecting to receive a leather one, SURPRISE!!... :oops: But anyhow, I think the nylon Velcro Camo are worth the $10.00 so there's nothing to lose.

I had not received a response to my inquiry. Tried calling, provided order number and date. Rep to look into, then disconnected. :oops:
Then no more than 15 minutes ago, checked the status, received a chat request. May my question, received a reply that she would look into, then chat message, no representatives available, and then option no longer available. :facepalm:
I suspected an error on the order listing, but for them not to admit is uncharacteristic of LM customer service unless they no farm it out to a 3rd party. :rant: :dunno: :whistle: :popcorn:

You can not access that page through the LM website but if you check the link provided on my first post, you will see the description was changed to "limited edition nylon sheath" but the photo remains the same. Have no idea what's going on with LM sales. Don't forget to let us know which one you received :tu: By the way, looks like someone is already re-selling them on eBay.

Received my package today, Camo is the NYLON style. Not the Leather originally pictured and described.
I feel that I did not receive what was ordered, yet looking back on it, the leather at $10 was to good of a deal to be true, and it was not to be.
Was I duped??? or a real mistake, not fully disclosed by LM?

I agree with you when it come to Velcro :tu: I'm not a big fan of it so I attached a snap button for reinforcement to the only Velcro sheath I own

I actually prefer the Velcro but adding a snap button makes it best of both.
I have to say I'm surprised that leatherman has made such a mistake on their website. Someone must have had a telling off for that error lol! :facepalm:

I guess shipping cost on a sheath, maybe without box in a (padded ?) envelope, can't be that high, right ?
Same goes for other people here who were hoping on a leather camo sheath and got the nylon version, though I must say that I won't be buying all of them ;).

Within the US, there's free shipping right now, with a free $15 gift card with any purchase; no matter how small. I bought 4, using the gift card from the last free shipping/free $15 gift card promo. So, better than free!
