How much were the Coach/Victorinox leather scaled Climbers when new? I can't imagine they were almost $420.   And a lot of sub-$50 traditional fixed blade use leather washers compressed by a machine, or a screw in the pommel.

I would imagine $100 would be high, $50 decent, but not this price. It's like they just threw out a random number and saw if it would sell.

I almost said ... heck ... finally a Swiza I'd buy  :climber: ... then looked at the pricetag ... wtf?  :o My first two cars cost less than that...  :ahhh
