My previous Ray-Ban flew off my head into the ocean some time ago, if you're interested it should be somewhere between Port Angeles, WA and Victoria in BC ;)
Current sunglasses are Ray-Bans as well. No idea what model.
I lost a pair of Oakleys once, while on a rollercoaster ride. I think the people that operate rollercoasters find a lot of stuff under the loops and bumps...

Then I got sick of their price and their Bullsmurf, so I got some oakleys....
(an equally disgusting website. Apparently the category is "performance lifestyle", which makes me feel like their marketing department doesn't speak english as a native language.)

now I get Cancer Council or Ugly Fish or Mako. They cost 1/6th the price, are probably made by the same unpaid children in some crappy factory, work just as well, and people are less likely to steal them.
I wear sunnies more or less every day - I'm often moving from daylight to low light areas, so they are on-and-off and get scratched a lot, and not too many $300 pairs of sunnies float....

I do have a non prescription pair of vintage vintage Ray Ban Aviator type sunglasses around but since I don't really bother with contact lenses anymore, I haven't used them in a long long time.

I lose of break sunglasses often, and so I have a hard time justifying spending decent money on them. I did have a nice pair of Hobie sunglasses for years, but they were eventually stolen out of the Jeep.
I usually only wear them while driving so they never actually leave the Jeep because I lose them so easily. When I am not driving I usually just squint. :facepalm:

Also found a pair of Oakley Antix in a thrift shop for around 30 bucks, so those are my at work shades. Not really my taste in style, but really hold onto my head well, which is a plus at my job.
