Title: anodizing charge tti and it's effects (if any) on laser engravings

so I'm thinking of anodizing the scales of my leatherman charge but I run into a point of uncertainty: will it damage it's laser engraving? Has anyone ran into this and if so, what where the results? The engraving is done through progear if that helps. thanks in advance.
