Fantastic fix up, looks amazing. Think the blade profile works fine and although I might consider replacing if I found age appropriate donor there is something about keeping even the original rivets in place that might overrule the urge. Great find.

Love your slips, Otonka :like:

I have a few Victorinox pouches. They're horrible in comparison.

Thanks Rizio! Good to see you again.

The cat in my avatar went missing ages ago. But in a stroke of incredible luck, I found him again about three years later, living with a lovely elderly couple on a small farm miles from where I live. I had to let him stay because he was so happy there & because the couple loved him, treated him really well, & enjoyed his characterful nature. :)

I still have my other cat, though.

That's a nice colour Spartan, Gary! Here's my contribution for today, a Spartan and an XM-24. I guess I'd better get used to the American flag, I'll become a naturalised citizen in about four months, hopefully.
Gosh, I've not seen those scales before. They're stunning!  :like:

I guess it’s fitting I’m carrying a serrated Spartan (Weekender) on the weekend. Sadly, I’m also at work..

Ahh, an old fave. The serrated blade cuts like the dickens & keeps its edge well. It's also easy to sharpen with a Vic combination sharpener. I like that the serrations are right handed even though it makes little if any difference in practice.

That's what it looks like to me though I've never seen one in person.

Happy Saturday fellow Spartans. It's gone a little Black for a bit of taggery here

I've always had a soft spot for the black Spartan. Somehow it comes over to me as more serious & business-like than the red.

Just learned about the hanklights but there are so many options for them.  Looking forward getting your thoughts on it.
