Title: Fishing - Bear Cam
Post by: redmond on July 11, 2018, 06:55:13 PM
This is a National Park cam at Brooks Falls in the Katmai National Park, AK - about 300 miles SW of Anchorage. Watching the big Brown Bears catching fish is fun.

Be Warned - this can be mesmerizing and can waste a lot of time!

These bears are only a little smaller than Polar Bears. The smaller ones are about 300 pounds (135 kg) and about 6 ft (2 m) tall. The big boys out there run 900+ lb (410 kg) and stand 10 ft tall (3 m).
