Looking at data on the Fit, I just ran across this; hope I'm not stepping on Bossman's toes any. :/

I have some pictures of them. The BG multitool is a Suspension with "grippy" handle inserts, the Mini Suspension is a Clutch with the nail file replaced with a small serrated blade, and there's also a fire steel with a storage compartment for tinder.
There's actually a whole series of things from survival kits to folding and fixed blade knives. I took some photos of the BG multis that I'll get to shortly, but in the meantime here's most of the series.

That big blade at the bottom really interests me, and I actually have one of the small folders on the right that I'll report on after a bit of use. They seem to be quite well made and quite useful.

They are pretty well what you would expect from a Suspension and Clutch, only "grippy." :D

Wow, too bad Bear Grylls decided to cash in on the money train. I'd like to see him use that stuff in real world situations. :-\

I do like his shows but let's not get into that here.
I was in a shop yesterday looking at jackets and I saw a Bear Grylls jacket. I did expect to see discount vouchers for the Holiday Inn
See what you guys have done to me :twak: :D

Sorry when I came def made me sign a contract to make Bear Grylls/hotel jokes :D
In all seriousness I might consider that fix blade (if I ever decide I should get one)

Good grief. ::) I wonder how many more ways they are going to try packaging that same old Suspension and Clutch? :P

Didn't the Suspension and Clutch have problems with weak/crappy springs. If it was packaged with "improved" springs. That fact alone would improve its marketing chances
And be a big chance at redemption for Gerber

Hmmm, I guess it is noteworthy that they got rid of the Clutch nail file and added a serrated sheepsfoot blade. :)

Still have the old nail nick though, bearly functional on blade and impossible to use on shorter implements.
I like the design of the knives, just wish it had better execution. A guy on one of the knife forums had the hammer butt fly off while batoning I believe, it was held in with two plastic pins.
