The Cyclist was what I was after for the collection....ended up to be the worst off....and the back side tools have blade play on close and open
Mod fodder .......... hmmmmmmm MAYBE!  :D

Side note *** the seller threw in the 58mm Vic Classic SD for free as a bonus - Green rear scale was broke in half, I removed the 1/2 that was there when they arrived B4 pix. ***

Here are a few pics of Johns Tink n' Keys.......  :D
I had a set of keys to a Honda civic I had and sold , a few years ago.... and added the sharp-LESS Tinker. He thinks it is neat to have keys that look like Grandpas. :tu:
He rarely lets them out of his sight....... Unless he is SO tired from Farmin' ,Playin' in water/dirt ,  errr Packin with Grandpa 8) (he barely made it to get 1 boot off , LOL )

Victorinox DeLuxe - Marble Blue / with Gold Shield

(SAK-Wiki info)  :tu:
The Victorinox DeLuxe is a luxury model containing the same layer tools as the Classic, but featuring high luster enameled scales with a marbled pattern and gold trim. These knives do not include the toothpick, tweezers, or keyring. The complete DeLuxe series of knives includes 5 enamel finish models in different colors, and 1 gold edition. However; There appears to be at least two color variations, or the series was extended at some point to include darker red and darker blue editions (see Extended Series image below). The knifes in this series were packaged in lined jewelry gift cases. While technically 56mm the DeLuxe is listed in the 58mm section which is the closest standard size.
****** Variations = Some knives have a Gold Victorinox Shield printed on the top scale; this variation appears much less common and belong to a later edition manufactured in 1987 (date from Dan Jacquart).*****

When I first saw the "butter" blade on the Spirit I wasn't impressed.  I thought, how could such a terrific company like Victorinox put such a lame blade on that tool.  Then I got one and WOW, was I so wrong.  Its such an awesome blade.

I cannot wait till he can use some of his tools.  Thats going to be a fun day for you both.

Victorinox Pocket Pal 58mm / ALOX / NO Keyring version / Red - COORS advert

(SAK-Wiki info)  :tu:
The 58mm Pocket Pal is an older Victorinox knife that is fairly rare. With a single layer design and Alox handles it is extremely slim. This model is essentially an Alox scaled version of the Cellidor Princess. The 58mm Pocket Pal should not be confused with the larger, more common, 84mm Pocket Pal model that is still in production.
Discontinued model.

Victorinox Classic SD - ALOX / Black /  *** Note: Has Keyring ***

(SAK-Wiki info)  :tu:
The Victorinox Classic is the most common Swiss Army Knife, and is considered the 'basic' (or base) 58mm sized model. The Classic SD has a ScrewDriver tip on the nail-file/cleaner tool and is often simply referred to as a Classic, while technically being a very common variation. The Classic is available in an extremely wide range of colors and handle materials. It is also a very popular model to be branded with a company logo. There are a number of other 58mm knives with the same blade configuration. However, as a general rule, to be a Classic, the knife must have the Keyring, Toothpick and Tweezers. There are a few exceptions to this rule; when the scales are metal, these knives generally do not have the Tweezers or the Toothpick; The Alox Classic SD, the ((show_image.php?id=398|Brushed Stainless Steel Classic)), and knives in the Classic SD Sterling Series. To make the definition just a little more imprecise, the knives with machined stainless steel scales are known as the Broker. There is a special issue Classic SD series made for Tiffany Co. that have Sterling Silver scales with the toothpick and the tweezers.

The Wenger PocketGrip (earlier named the MiniGrip) is an 85mm Wenger tool that fairly closely resembles a Swiss Army Knife with a set of non-folding plier jaws protruding from one end. The PocketGrip is available with either square or needle node pliers. Also falling outside the standard SAK profile is the plier handle, which conceals a set of standard 1/4" hex driver bits. With the exception of the flat-head screwdriver/cap lifter blade (which features Wenger's automatic spring-pressure safety lock system), none of the tools on the PocketGrip lock open.

The Victorinox Baker's Knife, also known as the Bäckermesser, is different than other folding pocket knives by Victorinox, with a different style as well as tools. This knife, as it's name suggests, is aimed at the Pastry Chef for some of their delicate adornment work. It's curved serrated blade is unique to this knife, as is its folded length of 90.25mm. The knife has solid Red Alox scales. This knife is very thin at only 4.83mm and may be the thinnest Victorinox folding pocket knife currently in production (2008).
