How about a club for these great knives?
Serrated, plain edged, OH, clip, let`s see them all.
-
My rather new Sentinel NS. I really like this knife :tu:

Great knife. A real light and slim carry.
I don´t have the OH ... strict knife laws I don´t want come in trouble with.

I should really carry this more often. A Nomad or a Forester/Trailmaster with the clip would be an innovating design - and a real option instead of sheath-carry the 111 mm series.
C'mon Vic. :pok: :pok:
-
I have the same one as Humppa. I actually prefed it as I have never been a fan of OHO knives. The Sentinel makes a great food prep knife.

C`mon guys, any more?

Got one some time ago. A bit too big for my daily needs but a great knife.

LOL! I got it when I bought a nice leather 111mm Zermatt so what did I do? Swapped sheaths into a generic Vic nylon and threw it in the big box.
-
I have a non-serrated with clip in my food kit.
It is a new Esbit cooker that replaces my old Esbit and mess tins from my time in the Belgian military.
-
Lets see some more!

The knife snobs have been picking on the OHOS, but I like mine! Even got a part serrated black-out from Europe with neat pouch that was not cheap!
-
The OHO lock blades are illegal in some countries, and I wouldn´t be surprised to see the EU banning them throughout. I don´t think it would matter much to me as the OHO blades are not the most ergonomic when using other tools than the blade. But the Sentinels, having no other tools, are an exception. I have both the plain and serrated versions.
-
Oh, there's a separate club for Sentinels? I'm in! Mine is the OH serrated without clip. Lovely knife, I mainly use it in the kitchen.
-
Think I'll give mine a try again, slim back pocket, but I use a cap lifter more than a blade lolol.
-
Cool as I didn’t know about this model with the clip making it a Sentinel.
-
Should try my blacked out version from Europe but like to keep it mint condition!
-
I'll play.
Non serrated with clip
-
Very nice, and love the photos’s.

Non serrated with clip
Like a slim 1 blade but in NY a clip announces you have a knife- sadly not recommended, unless you unclip it and conceal it tii out of tbe city. .....

Sentinel with Nanopresso
I like the Sentinel, but don't generally carry it because it's a tad too large and it scares the muggles at work.

Nice SAK for sure! But the Nanopresso really got my attention...is that a actual espresso machine or a container for carrying it around. :like: :tu:

Yup, it's an actual espresso machine. All you need is hot water. I carry coffee in a separate container.
At work we have dreadful coffee, and we are not allowed to use electronics (like a Nespresso or other coffee maker) because of regulations.
So, for me this is the next best thing. Granted, it does have it's quirks. I have to pre-heat it well to pull a good cup, otherwise I will get a sour shot quick.

Well that is a very interesting machine, and you can use the capsules so that is nice, especially as he mentioned, for camping! Thanks! :hatsoff:

I'm completely off topic now, excuse me for that.
But I got the NS adapter as a Christmas present. With it you can use Nespresso capsules to make espresso. It works like a charm and does not make as much a mess as ground coffee. Depending on the situation I bring either the one or the other.

Any new OHOSentinal stories, pics?

That would work! :tu:

Nice new avi Ray :tu:

May try the Sentinel for bad weather ops - leave the little ones home or as a backup.... :salute:

Did you see the blacked out one with pouch from Europe!

...thinking about a OHO Sent in my back pocket for a bit...

Anyone have trouble one hand opening?
-
Any new pocket clip ideas?
-
Anyone have trouble one hand opening?
My Sentinels and other OHO SAKs don´t open as easily as other folders.
I don´t mind because I use two hand opening anyway.

 is there a fix?
I don´t think so. Unlike other OHO folders, the Vxs have a backspring so you´ll need to apply a little force.

Welcome back! Any more Sentinel likers put there? :dunno:

I have a serrated Sentinel Clip OHO model, and I don't like it. What don't I like about it?
Um...to me they're ugly...
Only come in one color, black...would prefer red...
Only a knife blade? Come on.....I need tools.....
Not easy to open or close, especially one-handed. But even two-handed.
So. Even accounting for the fact that it doesn't have screw drivers and scissors and stuff, because that's the model it is.... No, I don't particularly like it. Sorry.
I didn't even intend to buy it.....bought it by accident.....
-
I know JtB, not their best work.
I like just one slim blade. Has to be some good in it?
-
Oops still here!
Still like the OHO Sentinel as a slim single blade.
The blacked out Italian w/pouch still has not left the SAK collection!
-
Sentinel+ owner here. Carried for a while but the liner lock was its downfall. Backwards from a traditional folder. I am lefthanded but to write only.

I know, for a 111 Picnicer and the lock sometimes makes me nuts
-
I may try it for a bit.
Need a single inexpensive blade for this just wonderful winter weather! :salute:
