Hey all,
Lurker turned member here!
I was hoping to find the answer to something, from any Vix XLT owners.
I just purchased an XLT, and I’ve noticed that when the fine screwdriver on the back of the tool is opened fully, it actually opens a little past 90 degrees. Not by loads, but slightly. My standard Swiss Champ fine screwdriver opens to 90 degrees. This opens maybe 2-3 degrees past that. I’ve attached a photo.
Just wondering if this is normal on the XLT?
Thanks in advance guys and gals!

Mr. Vic, Welcome to :MTO:
I just checked on my copy of XVAT and XLT, that the back spring small screwdriver basically do open straight, but if I stretch it a little, they do open more than just 90 deg. I think it might have to do with the strength of the backspring.

My XLT does the same thing.

Sorry for the late reply to you all!
Thanks everyone for the very warm welcome - really appreciate that.
Even more so however, I’m grateful for you to take the time to check whether this might be an anomaly, or just part of the design. I gather it’s the latter.
Thanks all of you!!!
:salute:
