More tests for the Swiza Scissors: Some Plastic Film is no big issue, but Candle Wick is the Endboss for these Scissors, so i will use my Minichamp for this ..

But you can improve the "Scissor Cutting Succes" when you push the Blades a bit together whyle you cut ..

The Scissors are not completly useless but whit this Knive you have to think more bevor you start to work to get used to these strange stuff ..

I’m guessing the “superior” aspect may be referring to the slightly thicker, unpolished tools.

Personally, I do love the aesthetic of red old cross alox and it is a favorite. As far as other differences, the only one that matters to me, is the sharpened inside edge of the cap lifter. Wish they would have kept that.

Thanks for the education.

I have one old cross Farmer that I bought new in 1997. The tools look exactly the same as all my other Pioneers, so I always assumed the old crosses were very similar to the modern ones. I never paid much attention to the pre-1984 Pioneers to realise that the tools were thicker or unpolished.

Day Eight

Piercing the film on my 4:30am chicken and bacon pasta. That’s about as exciting as it’s got so far today.

DAY 8

Chilling with the ducks and guinea pigs this morning before work and children get up.

I noticed that the guinea pigs look a look harassed, so made a make do hutch / hide for them using the Micra blade....I did try the scissors first but they really don't cut very well, and we're not strong enough.

Guinea pigs are much happier now...well kind of....the ducks are eating their food...

If this is due to an ongoing drop in QA, I wonder if Vic gets user feedback from here. Without experienced users informing them of a slide in QA, they're not going to change trying to cut corners.
