I haven't had any experience with this knife so I would like some help from members.
What would be a legitimate price for a NEW 108 Hunter with imitation stag scales?

I suppose its value is what your happy to pay for it. Of the top of my head i paid about £100 for mine, that was a month a go.
-
I think around $ 100 would be fair.
I have seen a couple of them for sale at $ 135 or best offer (so I suppose they will sell/are sold around 100-110). I have one on the way for which I paid € 75 including shipping ($ 87).

That´s not too much. I need to go find one.

At those prices you need at least three :pok:

Not really. I know it´s blasphemy but I prefer the Solingen handmade Hunters with bolsters and stag scales. The Vx would be for completeness.
-
At €75 you can sign me up as well :D

I made an offer, before I realized it was imitation stag, which is not my thing.
I certainly would prefer authentic Sambar Stag.
Thanks for the help everyone,I do appreciate it.

Authentic stag on the 108mm Hunter is extremely expensive I guess, since they are very rare. If I remember correctly from the SAKwiki page only 500 were made with authentic stag?

Wait, there are 108mm hunters with really stag antler ????????
That means i have to buy more 108's

The best way to tell the real deal is the pinned scales.
Years ago I bought a brand new 108 Hunter with "Staglon" scales, and couldn't stand the look of them. I had custom scales made.

Hi, If you can't live with the faux stag scales, I would be glad to take it off your hands if the price was right.
BTW, here is a pic of the real Mc Coy, which I don't have. Just eye candy :)
