Made a deal with a friend and acquired a few more vintage watches in exchange for some restoration work. These are the ones I was able to get running with a lot of fiddling and cleaning. New bands(I have quite a few NOS bands from years ago) on all of them. Going to need another watchbox.
This makes 80 or so watches altogether(half newer and half vinage). :ahhh

Nice job Gman! I love the look of good old watches!!

You've got quite a selection. :like:

Thank you, Barry and Aloha!
My favorite so far is the Gruen Curvex. Calibre 370 curved movement. I may try and get a photo of the movement posted tomorrow. :)

Pics of movement.

:like: I. What really stands out to me on those old beauties is that everything, even parts hidden in the case, were still polished. You just don't see that kind of attention to detail anymore.

You're absolutely right, Barry. That kind of attention to detail has almost faded away. And to get it, you have to pay big. :ahhh

Still rummaging through boxes of vintage watches and matching movements and cases. Polishing cases and crystals. And finding the right bands. :ahhh
Victorinox watch for size reference.
