Wes Anderson fans will know that he includes a SAK in a lot of his films - Rushmore, Royal Tenenbaums and Moonrise Kingdom to name 3. On Wes-Anderson.com you can buy a Max Fischer engraved Climber:

I wish the stag handled Raccoon badged model from Moonrise Kingdom was available.

$80 for a Climber with print?! That's ridiculous.
-
So he makes movies? I have not seen any on that site.......
Good movies?
I youtubed the ROYAL TENENBAUMS movie trailer just now...... :tu: :D
-
Thought you said Max Fleischer. That I might have bought.

+1 :D
Looking at it against the one in the film, it looks like a bad replica as well. The original has plus scales and the engraving on the back side.

You would expect a Wes Anderson-celebrating website to at least get details like these right

Yeh! You had one job! I don't think it's an official site.
I wish there was more info on the 'Moonrise Kingdom' stag /raccoon mod though- the scales on that beauty are sweet, stag scales with Raccoon inlay and bail (knife pictured 50 seconds in):

I was saying Wes who? Now it looks like I have a few movies to watch. :tu:
Thanks Mags!
A stag Climber with bail would be cool, I agree, looks like a custom.

He's a great director and his casting is impeccable - but scenery and colour is his forte.
