Title: Is this genuine?
Post by: WaynejG on June 15, 2019, 12:03:36 PM
I was gifted this @Work knife. Has the same tool set as per the SAK Wiki. It has a company logo on the blade. All my searching refers to this knife having translucent red scales. This one has black scales.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190615/6068bd6f3dc66213d0d41e057b1cc24d.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190615/d462c6e293dc7692f16419bfab950e93.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190615/6c1769b00ffc404c0e77138409af5e3d.jpg)

"Is this genuine?"
Nothing suggests to me otherwise. :)
Victorinox is known to play around with different scale colours, especially on advertisement knives.

Well this sure is a cool gift, considering how much this costs in South Africa.

Nice gift.  Could be as simple as a scale swap by someone  :dunno:.  Whatever the case enjoy  :tu:
