Going through some stuff and found this, I totally forgot I had this. Don't think I've ever posted it here before, so here it is. My dad bought this together with some old fishing stuff and tackle box at yard sale, the only indication of age is a piece of calender in the tackle box from 1951! He doesn't use it so I took and kept it because I thought it was neat. You'll have to excuse the oil stains, I had it oiled up pretty good to prevent any further rusting.
It's a steel capsule that's about 3 inches long, consists of two half that unscrews apart, notice the notch.
Inside are four tools, punch, screwdriver, corkscrew, and minidrill, notice the notch on back of each tool.
The tool slide into the notch of steel shell, and screw closed it becomes a T handle.
There seem to be enough space for one more tool inside the shell, but I've never seen anything like it so I don't know what could it be.

Thats pretty neat! I like the way it all packs up inside the capsule. Is there any logo or markings on it?
-
Only thing i can find is "Germany" on the capsule.

I have a nearly identical tool I found among my grandfather's tools. Very neat little design.
Peter Atwood posted at EDCF a while back about one he came across years ago, with some good pictures. His included a pair of tweezers.

Wow, $10 back in 1985, I don't know how much does that equal today but I take it was pretty expensive!

Cool tool, sometimes it pays to go to garage sales,I spent three years in
Germany, and never seen anything like it before,Thanks for sharing!!!

man those old gadgets have some style, thats nice tihng you got there indeed.ive never seen one just like that.
somehow it reminds me of Harp multitool though, its a classic slim design too.
and i think u could easily modify some tools of harp.ti fit in yours,if the shank diameters match.
