Title: Any none cloudbased website developer tools out there?

Then there are programs like Pinegrow. I like that one as it works with plain normal html, css and javascipt and previews the results as you go.

Post by: Steinar on July 31, 2019, 08:16:19 PM: If you don't already know them, you might want to consider learning reStructuredText (http://docutils.sourceforge.net/rst.html) (excellent for technical docs and that style of documents) or Markdown (https://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/) (shares ancestry with reStructuredText, but more quick and dirty in style; also only targeting HTML, while HTML is just one of many targets for reStructuredText). Learning any of those two will give you access to many free publishing tools.

(Edit: I'd strongly recommend reStructuredText, as Markdown is fragmented and does not have the properly defined grammar of reStructuredText.)
