Title: Sog Warranty Question
Post by: Thisjk38 on April 11, 2012, 12:26:03 AM
So I sent in my Crosscut for a warranty issue about 3 weeks ago. I followed the directions for doing so, and included several different ways for them to contact me. I have not heard anything back. Is this common? Will I just receive a package from them one day, without any communication? If so, how long does it usually take for them to fix a warranty problem.

Where are you located? In my experience they are very fast.  Probably took a week and I'm only a state away.

Man that worries me. I'm in Southern California. Did you hear from them before you received your knife back?

Well I used the warranty page and requested a new plier head because mine had messed up wirecutters and they just shipped it out to me the next day I believe.  I sent a few emails back and forth after I submitted my request. They were very helpful.

I guess mine is a bit different. They may just be backed up, even though SOGs are very easy to fix for the most part. What was the problem?
