Title: Rotokid - Tom Meaker
Post by: damota on April 16, 2007, 09:12:38 PM
I thought I would mention that I have repaired at last my Cybertool with a pair of black scales supplied by Tom from Rotokids. I would like to recommend his quality of service to anyone who needs to do a Victronix SAK repair or mod and also for anyone wanting to mess around making lanyards.
Great service!

Dave

I just used the standard 91mm replacement scale and was a simple push on. Do not try to have a look how they fit on before you get the scale though because as soon as you lift them of they damage the plastic round the sockets so they do not go back on again very securely. Tom has some good modern scales as well as traditional scales but although the are cut you will have to file them to fit. I do think Vic should have a serious rethink about the material they make there scales out of, Zytel sort of spring to mind. Any how I have a photo it now looks like a bog standard black handled SAK.
His site is at-

I do not know if you have to be be a SOSAK member to get to the site though.
